The Center for Bone & Joint Disease used a heavily paper-based system to process surgeries. Calendar books were used to manage the schedule and all surgery-related forms were completed by hand. But with support staff moving in between their four office locations daily, being able to access and share the information needed to coordinate surgeries was extremely challenging. The Center for Bone & Joint Disease sought out a better way to manage their surgeries and wanted a software platform that would integrate seamlessly with their EHR, Greenway.
